Industrial Architect
As an Industrial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction and renovation of industrial buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet the specific needs of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and objectives
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing structures and gather information for design proposals
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed plans, drawings, and 3D models of industrial buildings
- Liaise with engineers to ensure structural integrity and adherence to building codes and regulations
- Prepare cost estimates and timelines for project proposals
- Oversee the construction process to ensure designs are implemented correctly and within budget
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or changes in design plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial architecture or a similar role
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Experience working on large-scale industrial projects
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles for industrial buildings
Location: Aarhus, Denmark (visa sponsorship available)
Salary: $1400 per month
