Fitter - Contract Position in Aarhus, Denmark



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark on a contract basis. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the field of fitting and assembly who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine assembly requirements
- Use hand and power tools to fit, align, and assemble mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps, and motors
- Perform welding and brazing tasks as needed
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or systems as they arise
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Fitter or in a similar role
- Experience working with various hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
- Familiarity with welding processes preferred
- Team player with excellent problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
