Long Haul Truck Driver

We are hiring a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation company in Aarhus. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials across long distances. You must have a valid biometric passport, at least 12 years of education and a minimum of 2 years of experience in long haul driving.

Responsibilities:
- Transport goods and materials over long distances while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Inspect trucks for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers via radio or phone to provide updates on delivery status
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding load weight, safety protocols, and delivery instructions
- Complete required paperwork such as bills of lading, trip sheets, and vehicle inspection reports

Requirements:
- Valid biometric passport
- High school diploma or equivalent (12 pass jobs)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time without compromising safety
- Basic understanding of truck maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management skills
