We are hiring a cashier to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in cash handling and customer service. As a cashier, you will be responsible for processing payments, handling returns and exchanges, and providing excellent customer service. You must have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and process their purchases accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, including giving correct change and processing credit card payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with merchandise returns and exchanges
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent math skills and ability to handle transactions quickly
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide friendly customer service
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this contract job. In addition, we provide free visa sponsorship for non-Danish nationals as well as a ticket allowance for relocation.
