Clinical Dietitian

As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition assessment, education, and counseling to patients in a clinical setting. Your main role will be to develop individualized nutrition plans for patients based on their medical conditions and dietary needs. You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Conducting nutrition assessments and developing personalized meal plans for patients with various medical conditions.
- Providing nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to their meal plans.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient records.
- Staying updated on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition.
- Participating in team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment strategies.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a dietitian in a clinical setting.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and gastrointestinal disorders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and counsel patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.

Working Conditions:
