Executive Chef in Aarhus, Denmark
Our 5-star restaurant in Aarhus, Denmark is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and ensuring the highest quality of dishes are served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Source and select the freshest ingredients from local suppliers
- Train, manage, and lead a team of kitchen staff
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes of all dishes
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to create innovative dishes while staying true to traditional techniques
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Fluent in English (Danish language proficiency is a plus)
