We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and control systems used in industrial settings. This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$ per week and requires prior experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functioning of all instruments
- Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or issues with instruments and control systems
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and report any potential problems or safety hazards
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of all equipment
- Stay updated on latest industry developments and new technology in the field of instrumentation
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
- Familiarity with instrument calibration techniques and procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree or certification in Instrumentation or related field
- Experience working in industrial settings such as manufacturing plants or refineries
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to working with electrical equipment
