Land Surveyor
A land surveyor is responsible for conducting precise measurements and mapping of land surfaces, boundaries, and natural features. They use specialized equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners to collect data and create accurate maps and reports. The job may also involve analyzing existing data, researching legal records, and communicating with clients to understand their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment
- Record measurements and data accurately
- Create detailed maps and reports based on survey data
- Analyze existing data and research legal records
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements
- Work closely with other professionals such as civil engineers and architects
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Conduct site visits to gather information for surveys
- Monitor changes in land features over time
- Maintain accurate records of surveys
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a land surveyor or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred
- Proficiency in using GPS, total stations, laser scanners, and other surveying equipment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform fieldwork in various weather conditions
Location: This position is based in Aarhus, Denmark.
Salary: The salary for this position starts at $900 per month.
