Network and Systems Administrator

A rapidly expanding IT company is seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's computer network and systems to ensure maximum performance and efficiency. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Maintain and upgrade network hardware and software
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and security settings
- Perform regular backups of data to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery protocols are in place
- Develop and implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network issues or system malfunctions
- Continuously evaluate the network infrastructure for potential improvements or upgrades

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Experience with configuring and managing firewalls (Cisco ASA), routers (Cisco), switches (Cisco/Meraki)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes of technical issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or MCSE/MCSA
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
