IT Support Specialist


We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Aalborg. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers, both remotely and on-site. Your main duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and maintaining network and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including printers, scanners, and network devices
- Install and configure computer systems according to customer requirements
- Maintain network and server infrastructure including backups, updates, and security patches
- Create user accounts and manage access permissions
- Assist with the setup of new equipment or software for customers
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions in our ticketing system

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or related role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10)
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Experience with Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Preferred:
- CompTIA A+ or other relevant certifications
- Experience with Active Directory management
- Familiarity with Mac OS X operating system
