Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer - Biometric Verification

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer with experience in biometric verification to join our team in Aalborg. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithms and models for biometric passport verification. You will work closely with our software development team to integrate these models into our existing systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop machine learning algorithms and models for biometric passport verification
- Gather and analyze data from various sources to improve accuracy of models
- Collaborate with software development team to integrate models into existing systems
- Monitor and evaluate performance of models, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Stay up-to-date with latest advancements in machine learning techniques and apply them to improve our systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, specifically in the field of biometrics
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience working with large datasets and data analysis tools
- Familiarity with software development processes and ability to work collaboratively with a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with biometric identification technologies such as facial recognition or fingerprint scanning
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about data analysis results
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
