Junior Information Security Analyst

We are hiring a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Aalborg. In this role, you will work closely with our senior security analysts to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our company's information systems and data. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security controls to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and technologies, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems for potential threats or breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures
- Implement security controls to protect against threats
- Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats and industry best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Knowledge of information security principles, standards, and technologies (e.g. firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g. Nessus) is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively under pressure
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1500$ per month.

This position is based in Aalborg, Denmark.
