Contract Database Administrator - Aalborg, Denmark
We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Database Administrator with a biometric passport to join our team in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Contract Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring data security and accuracy, and providing technical support to our internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain databases in compliance with company standards
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Optimize database processes for improved efficiency
- Ensure data security and implement necessary measures for disaster recovery
- Regularly backup and restore databases as needed
- Work closely with internal teams to understand their database needs and provide technical support
- Train employees on proper database usage and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technology
Requirements:
- Biometric passport is required for this contract position
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience working as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of SQL language
- Experience with database design, implementation, maintenance, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with data security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
