Contract Interpreter (Aalborg, Denmark)


As a Contract Interpreter in Aalborg, you will have the opportunity to use your language skills and cultural knowledge to facilitate communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your main responsibility will be to accurately interpret spoken or written messages from one language to another, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. You will work on a contract basis, providing interpretation services for various clients in Aalborg and potentially other areas in Denmark. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services from one language to another
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Adhere to ethical standards and codes of conduct for interpreters
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Collaborate with other interpreters when necessary
- Keep up-to-date with industry terminology and cultural sensitivities
- Adapt quickly to different environments and subjects of discussion

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English and Danish (additional languages are a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Understanding of cultural differences and sensitivities
- Ability to remain impartial and neutral during conversations
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work on a contract basis and potentially travel within Denmark for assignments

Salary:
Salary will be based on an hourly rate of 1100$ per hour.

Location:
This position is based in Aalborg, Denmark. However, there may be opportunities for travel within Denmark for assignments.

Visa sponsorship may be provided for non-Danish applicants who meet all the necessary criteria.
