Typesetter (Part-Time)


Aalborg-based publishing company is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various printed materials, such as books, magazines, and newspapers. Your attention to detail and strong design sense will be crucial in ensuring the final product meets our high standards.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Using specialized software to format text and images according to specific layout guidelines
- Collaborating with editors and designers to ensure consistency and accuracy in the final product
- Troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during the typesetting process
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

The ideal candidate should have:
- Previous experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software, such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- A strong eye for detail and an understanding of design principles
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. While previous experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate.
