Facade Engineer


As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the exterior facades of buildings. Your role will involve collaborating with architects and designers to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for building exteriors. You will also work closely with construction teams to ensure that facades are installed correctly and meet safety standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in facade design and construction
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and designers to develop innovative facade designs that meet aesthetic, functional, and sustainability requirements
- Create detailed plans and drawings using CAD software for the construction of facades
- Conduct structural analysis to ensure the safety and stability of facades
- Monitor construction progress to ensure that facade installations are done correctly according to plans and specifications
- Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns related to facade construction
- Perform on-site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Keep updated on industry developments, new materials, and technologies related to facade engineering
Salary: $1100 per month (with accommodation)
Location: Aalborg (open to all nationalities)
