Turner (Metal Machinist)

As a Turner (Metal Machinist) in our company, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining metalworking machines to shape, form, and cut metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. You will use a variety of tools and techniques, such as lathes, drills, milling machines, and grinders to produce high-quality metal components for our clients. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and measurements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate metalworking machines including lathes, drills, milling machines, and grinders
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy
- Select appropriate cutting tools based on material type and job requirements
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished parts for defects or imperfections
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Turner or Metal Machinist preferred
- Strong understanding of metalworking processes and techniques
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and measurements
- Ability to operate various metalworking machines with precision
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex instructions
- Good physical stamina for standing for extended periods of time

Location: Aalborg (or other cities in Denmark)

Salary: 1600$ per month (or equivalent in Danish Krone)
