Preservation Architect


We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, while also ensuring they meet current safety and accessibility standards. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to develop plans and oversee construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, preferably with a focus on historic preservation, and be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine necessary preservation work
- Develop design plans that balance preservation goals with modern building codes and regulations
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure successful completion of projects
- Oversee construction work to ensure it meets design specifications and preservation standards
- Utilize knowledge of traditional building materials and techniques in restoration projects
- Stay updated on current preservation trends, techniques, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an architect, preferably with a focus on historic preservation
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to historic structures
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, and other professionals
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working with traditional building materials preferred

Salary: $1400/month
Location: Aalborg, Denmark
Start Date: Immediate
