Job Title: Preservation Architect (Contract)



We are hiring a qualified Preservation Architect to join our team in Aalborg on a contract basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while maintaining their historical and cultural significance. This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the preservation of important cultural landmarks.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Strong knowledge of historic building materials, construction techniques, and preservation regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Willingness to relocate to Aalborg for the duration of the contract

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historic buildings, including their history, architectural styles, materials used, etc.
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for restoration and renovation projects
- Oversee construction work on site to ensure adherence to plans and quality standards
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Provide recommendations for maintenance and future preservation efforts
