Junior Commercial Architect
A commercial architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, and industrial buildings. As a junior commercial architect, you will work under the supervision of a senior architect to develop design concepts, create drawings and specifications, and manage the construction process. Your role will involve collaborating with clients, engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing initial design concepts for commercial building projects
- Create detailed drawings and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop design solutions that meet client needs
- Prepare project budgets and timelines
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure project progress
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that arise
- Review project plans for compliance with building codes and regulations
- Communicate with clients throughout the project to provide updates and address any concerns
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in commercial architecture preferred but not required
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Location: Aalborg (visa sponsorship available)
Salary: Starting at $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
