Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy construction equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. This role requires a skilled individual with knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to operate various types of excavators.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators to perform tasks such as digging trenches, loading and unloading materials, and clearing debris
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety procedures at all times and maintain a clean and safe work area
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors
- Complete daily logs and reports of work performed
- Adhere to project specifications and timelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators in a construction or similar setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read diagrams, instructions, and specifications for the job site
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
