Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef at our upscale restaurant in Aalborg, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. Your creativity and leadership skills will be key in creating and executing menu items that delight our guests and keep them coming back for more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and execute innovative menus that meet the needs of our diverse clientele
- Oversee food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure high quality and consistency
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability
- Maintain sanitation standards and ensure compliance with health codes
- Collaborate with other departments to create special event menus or promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu items
Requirements:
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Proven track record of creating successful menus and managing kitchen operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus)
