Executive Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant in Aalborg

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a high-end fine dining restaurant in Aalborg. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and team management. Your role will also involve maintaining food quality standards, managing inventory and budgets, and ensuring a smooth operation of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and high-quality menus that align with the restaurant's concept and target audience
- Oversee food preparation and ensure all dishes are cooked to perfection
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and delegating tasks
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Create cost-effective menus while maintaining high-quality ingredients
- Implement safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus that appeal to a diverse audience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with team members, management, and customers
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures

Education:
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in culinary arts is preferred.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Aalborg. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently residing in Aalborg.

Note: This job is open to all nationalities. However, candidates must have a valid work visa for Denmark.
