Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Design

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems design, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of complex electrical systems. You will be responsible for designing power distribution systems and ensuring their safe and efficient operation. Your main tasks will include conducting feasibility studies, creating design plans, performing calculations and simulations, and overseeing the installation and testing of power systems.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of new power system projects
- Design power distribution systems that meet project requirements and comply with safety standards
- Create detailed design plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure the reliability and efficiency of power systems
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to oversee the installation of power systems
- Conduct tests to verify that power systems are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions that arise during testing or operation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes and regulations
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering technology and techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical engineering, preferably in power systems design
- Proficiency in CAD software for design purposes
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Effective communication skills for liaising with colleagues, clients, and contractors

Location: Aalborg or remote
Salary: $1800 per month
