Chef de Cuisine - Fine Dining Restaurant (Aalborg, Denmark)


We are hiring an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team in a high-end fine dining restaurant located in the vibrant city of Aalborg, Denmark. Our ideal candidate is a skilled and passionate chef with a strong background in French cuisine and fine dining. As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for creating and executing seasonal menus, managing food costs and inventory, supervising and training kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative menus with a focus on French cuisine using local and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee the preparation of all dishes to ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
- Manage food costs by monitoring inventory levels and implementing cost-saving measures
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with restaurant management to maintain smooth operations of the kitchen

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of French cuisine techniques and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food cost control methods and experience in menu planning
- Creativity and passion for creating exceptional dishes
