Head Chef


We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef to join our team at our fine dining restaurant in Aalborg. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. Your main goal will be to ensure that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences with high-quality dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that reflect the restaurant's culinary concept and appeal to guests
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipe standards and are visually appealing
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Oversee the maintenance of kitchen equipment and ensure proper safety protocols are followed
- Uphold high food quality standards while controlling costs and minimizing waste

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with staff, management, and suppliers
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month depending on experience.
