Radio Technician


We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining radio equipment used for communication purposes. Your duties will include troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radio systems and experience working with various types of equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and other related components
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform repairs as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of work performed and any changes made to equipment
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times and report any potential hazards or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in technology
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project timelines and updates

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Radio Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of radio systems including transmitters, receivers, antennas, frequency modulation techniques, etc.
- Familiarity with various types of radio equipment such as handheld radios, base stations, repeaters, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Excellent communication skills in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
- Physically fit and able to climb ladders/towers if necessary
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency call-outs if needed
