As a Pastry Chef at our upscale restaurant in Aalborg, Denmark, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and pastries to delight our guests. You will work closely with our talented culinary team to develop new menu items and ensure high-quality standards are met. Your creativity and passion for pastry making will be evident in every dish you create.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and execute a variety of desserts and pastries for the restaurant's menu
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new dessert offerings that align with the restaurant's concept and style
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients and supplies
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met in the pastry kitchen
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of dishes
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve pastry offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Formal culinary training or degree preferred but not required
- Extensive knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and recipes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan ahead and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Working Conditions:
The position of Pastry Chef is a full-time role that may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will spend most of your time working in the kitchen but may also interact with guests during special events. Salary:
The salary range for this position is $1300 per month depending on experience.
