Executive Pastry Chef


We are hiring an experienced and skilled Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at our renowned bakery in Aalborg, Denmark. As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of our delicious and visually appealing pastries. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new pastry recipes while also maintaining our signature items
- Oversee the entire pastry production process, from prep work to plating
- Train and supervise pastry cooks and assistants in recipe execution, presentation, food safety, and sanitation
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all pastries
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and maintain cost-efficiency
- Collaborate with other chefs to create seasonal menus and specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume bakery or restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of different pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and flavor profiles
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation in pastry making
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of orders
- Attention to detail with a focus on presentation and plating aesthetics

Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in Pastry Arts or related field preferred but not required
- Certification in food safety/sanitation is a plus
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills are preferred but not required)
