Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and preparing maps and reports for various land development projects. You will use specialized equipment and technology to measure and collect data on land features, boundaries, and elevations. You will also work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate and precise surveying results. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the field. Prior experience in land surveying is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using various tools such as GPS, total stations, and drones
- Record measurements and data accurately
- Create maps using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Prepare reports detailing survey findings
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on job sites
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in surveying technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred
- Prior experience in land surveying is a plus
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and drones
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software for map creation
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Aalborg (accommodation provided if needed)
