Land Surveyor
A Land Surveyor is responsible for accurately measuring and mapping land and other geographic features using specialized equipment and techniques. They work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure that projects are built on the correct property boundaries and according to design plans. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 2 years of experience in land surveying, possess strong mathematical skills, and be familiar with surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys to determine property boundaries and topography
- Prepare accurate drawings, maps, and reports based on survey data
- Use surveying instruments to measure distances, elevations, angles, and other features
- Verify accuracy of survey data by comparing results with previous records or measurements
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure correct placement of structures on land
- Communicate effectively with project managers and construction teams regarding survey results
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in various outdoor environments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in land surveying
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating distances, areas, angles, etc.
- Familiarity with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Valid driver's license
Location: Aalborg (or willing to relocate)
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
