Hotel Sales Manager

As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase occupancy in our hotel located in Aalborg. You will work closely with the hotel management team to identify potential markets and develop strong relationships with clients to generate new business. Your primary goal will be to exceed sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy
- Identify potential markets and establish relationships with key clients
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competition, and customer preferences
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties
- Monitor sales performance against targets and make adjustments as needed
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve their goals
- Build strong relationships with local businesses, travel agents, event planners, and other potential sources of business

Requirements:
- Proven experience in hotel sales or a related field, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry and current market trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to generate new business opportunities
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
