Hotel Sales Manager



The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and sales growth for the hotel through effective sales strategies and tactics. They will work closely with the hotel management team to develop and implement sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and maintain relationships with existing clients. This position requires strong communication skills, a results-driven mindset, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the hotel
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to set sales targets and monitor progress
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and presentations
- Attend industry events to network and promote the hotel
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve their targets
- Conduct regular performance reviews for the sales team
- Report on sales activities, trends, and results to senior management

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to close deals
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)

Salary: 1700$

Location: Aalborg (open to candidates from all nationalities)
