Hotel Sales Manager
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy for our hotel in Aalborg. They will work closely with the marketing team to identify potential business opportunities and build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue goals for the hotel
- Identify potential business opportunities through market research and networking
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners
- Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase the hotel's facilities and services
- Negotiate contracts and rates with clients to maximize revenue
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer feedback to make strategic recommendations
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and future bookings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel sales management role (freshers may also apply)
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, market trends, and customer behavior
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
Location:
This position is based in Aalborg. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Denmark.
