Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Esbjerg. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of data analysis methods and tools, as well as experience in data management and manipulation. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends that can inform business decisions. You will also be responsible for creating reports, visualizations, and dashboards to present insights in a clear and concise manner. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex data sets. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets using various tools such as SQL, Excel, R or Python
- Identifying patterns and trends in data that can inform business decisions
- Creating reports, visualizations, and dashboards to present insights in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Developing and maintaining databases for efficient data management
- Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through regular quality checks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of data analysis methods such as regression analysis, clustering, time series forecasting etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Excel VBA or R/Python
- Experience working with large datasets using tools such as Hadoop or Spark
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in data
- Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner
- Previous experience in the oil & gas industry is a plus

This position is based in Esbjerg, Denmark. We welcome applicants of all nationalities, but a valid work permit for Denmark is required.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month, as well as accommodation provided by the company.
