Android Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Esbjerg. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features that enhance user experience. You will also be involved in debugging and troubleshooting issues, as well as ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Troubleshoot issues reported by users and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Stay up-to-date with new trends in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven working experience in Android app development (minimum 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards for mobile devices
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Esbjerg but can also be done remotely.
