Information Security Analyst
As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our company's digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. You will be responsible for identifying potential security threats and vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and monitoring network activity for any suspicious behavior. You should have a deep understanding of security protocols and best practices, as well as experience with various security tools and technologies. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are essential for success in this role. This is a full-time position based in Esbjerg with a salary of 1300$ per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities in our information systems
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to determine the level of exposure to cyber threats
- Develop and implement effective security solutions to protect against attacks, breaches, and other malicious activities
- Monitor network activity for any unusual or suspicious behavior that may indicate a security breach
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay abreast of the latest industry developments and emerging threats to ensure our systems are adequately protected
- Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure a holistic approach to information security
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption methods, and other security technologies
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or CIS Controls
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus
