Typesetter

We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Esbjerg, Denmark. The ideal candidate will have experience in typesetting and layout design, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital publications.

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and images according to specific style guidelines
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure quality and consistency in layouts
- Proofread layouts for errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting
- Make necessary adjustments to layouts based on feedback from team members or clients
- Prepare files for printing or digital publishing
- Stay updated on industry trends and software updates related to typesetting and layout design

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members from different departments
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (preferred)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Esbjerg, Denmark. Please note that accommodation is not provided, so candidates must have the legal right to live and work in Denmark.
