Metal Worker
A metal worker is responsible for crafting, repairing, and installing metal components such as structures, tools, and machinery. They work with a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, and copper to create custom pieces or mass-produced products. Metal workers also use a variety of hand and power tools to shape and cut metal pieces, as well as welding equipment to join metal parts together.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or schematics to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark dimensions on metals using rulers, scribes, or other marking devices
- Cut or shape metal pieces using saws, shears, or other cutting machines
- Use welding equipment to join metal parts together
- Smooth and polish surfaces of finished products using grinders or sanders
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Repair damaged or defective metal components using various techniques such as welding or soldering
- Install finished products at construction sites or other designated locations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a metal worker or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal pieces
- Experience with welding equipment (MIG/TIG) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work according to project specifications
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Own basic set of tools required for the job (e.g. hammer, pliers)
- Valid visa (if applicable) for working in Esbjerg
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

This job is located in Esbjerg, Denmark.
Contract Type:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.
