Part-Time Preservation Architect in Esbjerg
We are seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis in Esbjerg. The ideal candidate will have a passion for historic preservation and experience working on restoration and conservation projects. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for conducting site assessments, developing preservation plans, and overseeing the execution of preservation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information about the historic structure
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Oversee the execution of preservation projects, ensuring quality and timely completion
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Provide expertise on materials, methods, and techniques used in historic preservation
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working on historic preservation projects
- Knowledge of local regulations and guidelines related to historic preservation
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other related software
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Salary will be commensurate with experience. The successful candidate must have their own transportation as travel within Esbjerg may be required. This position does not include accommodation.
