Preservation Architect



As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city of Esbjerg. Your main goal will be to conserve the unique architectural features of these structures while ensuring their safety and functionality for modern use.

To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience in preservation architecture and a deep understanding of historical building techniques and materials. You should also possess strong project management skills and the ability to work within budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation measures
- Develop detailed preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation efforts are carried out effectively
- Use your knowledge of traditional building techniques and materials to oversee restoration projects
- Monitor progress on preservation projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all work done on historic structures
- Stay updated on best practices in preservation architecture through continuing education opportunities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on Historic Preservation
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of historical building techniques, materials, and codes
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

This is a part-time position offering a competitive salary of 900$ per month. While we prefer candidates who can work onsite in Esbjerg, we are open to considering remote work arrangements for highly qualified individuals.
