Head Chef - Esbjerg, Denmark
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in the charming city of Esbjerg, Denmark. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new menu items while also maintaining existing dishes
- Train, manage, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation
- Ensure that food is prepared according to health and safety regulations
- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies to meet demand
- Manage food costs and budget effectively while maintaining high quality standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promotions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make suggestions for improvement or changes
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant environment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on business needs
- Must have valid work authorization for Denmark
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per week. We also offer free visa sponsorship and airfare for international candidates.
