Temporary Executive Chef
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a temporary basis in Esbjerg. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. You must have at least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting. A culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current food trends
- Oversee all food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage kitchen staff and train new hires
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: $1100 per week (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Esbjerg, Denmark
Duration: Temporary (3 months)
