Entry-Level Dietitian in Esbjerg, Denmark
We are a well-established healthcare facility in Esbjerg, Denmark seeking an Entry-Level Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based nutrition therapy and counseling to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Your main goal will be to promote healthy eating habits and prevent/treat diet-related health conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting nutrition assessments and creating personalized meal plans for patients based on their medical history, dietary preferences, and goals
- Providing individual or group counseling sessions to educate patients about proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex medical conditions
- Monitoring patients' progress and making necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed
- Staying up-to-date on the latest research and guidelines in the field of nutrition
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or eligibility to obtain RD within 6 months of employment
- Proficiency in Danish language (both written and verbal)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various health conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Salary:
