Junior Librarian - Esbjerg, Denmark


We are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Librarian to join our library in the beautiful city of Esbjerg, Denmark. As a Junior Librarian, you will assist in managing the daily operations of the library and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the library's collection by shelving, organizing, and cataloging books and other materials
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with finding materials, using library resources, and answering questions
- Assist in planning and conducting programs and events for all ages
- Help with the maintenance of library equipment and technology
- Collaborate with other library staff to develop and implement new services and initiatives

Requirements:
- A passion for books and knowledge
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Library Science is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of library databases and systems
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
