Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team in Esbjerg. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You will work closely with our management team to ensure the highest quality of food and service for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cooking and a creative approach to menu development.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage food costs within budget guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
