Head Chef
We are searching for a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our dynamic team in Esbjerg. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, from menu planning and food preparation to maintaining sanitation standards and managing kitchen staff. You should have a strong passion for cooking and a creative flair to develop exciting and delicious menu items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal availability and dietary restrictions
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and ensuring proper food handling procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes and improve existing ones
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations
- Creativity and passion for creating innovative dishes
Salary: 1300$ per month.
