Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Esbjerg. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and breads for our bakery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry making, a creative flair, and excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads according to recipes and customer requests
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as piping, glazing, and garnishing
- Ensure high quality standards are maintained in all pastry products
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen assistants
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques and decoration methods
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Creativity and passion for creating delicious pastries
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and recipe execution
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.
