Head Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Esbjerg, Denmark. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing all pastry items on our menu, as well as managing the pastry team.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design new pastry items that are visually appealing and delicious
- Oversee the production of all pastry items on the menu
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs to ensure high quality standards are met
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients for the pastry department
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu concepts
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and tools
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month, based on experience.
