Pastry Chef
Location: Esbjerg, Denmark
We are searching for a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Esbjerg, Denmark. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries that will delight our customers. Your main duties will include preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and other pastry ingredients, as well as decorating pastries and desserts with precision and attention to detail. You will also need to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment in accordance with food safety standards.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role. You should also possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A creative mind and strong attention to detail are essential qualities for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and other pastry ingredients according to recipes
- Decorate pastries and desserts with precision
- Ensure all pastries are presented in an attractive manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Contribute new ideas for dessert items to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Train new pastry chefs or assistants when needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of pastry arts techniques
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Creative mindset and strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
